The CSR Objective of HINCOL is to undertake activities for economic and social development of communities, preferably in the vicinity of the company’s operations. These would include: education, skill building, self-employment, health, cultural and social welfare etc., particularly targeting the disadvantaged sections of society. These would also include rendering aid to the victims of natural calamities such as floods, earth quakes etc. The activity also includes those as mentioned in the schedule VII of the new Companies Act 2013. HINCOL would incur the expenditure on such activities either directly or through preferred partners. However, contributions to NGOs or Relief Funds without specific programs or end use reports would be discouraged.
The Projects and the activities will be aligned to the following 05 (Five) focus areas:
HINCOL may partner with local authorities, business associations and civil society/non-government organizations to carry out such initiatives.
The HINCOL will follow a Project based model to identify the CSR activities to be carried out under sustainable model. The CSR activities being focused in the area near our Plant vicinity, the programs identified would normally be within a distance of 100 km from our HINCOL Plant or where there is a strategic connect with HINCOL.
Employees are encouraged to participate in the CSR activities through voluntary contributions in terms of money, time and efforts.
The information on CSR policy, activities and progress will be disseminated to all stakeholders and the public at large through the HINCOL website, intranet site, Directors’ report in the annual report and other communication media
