Mr. Hervé Le Bouc was born on January 7, 1952 in the town of Pau in southwestern France.
In 1976, he graduated with a degree in engineering from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics with a major in Public Works.
Mr. Le Bouc began his career at Screg in 1977 as a Project Engineer. Soon after, he was appointed Area Supervisor, followed by Profit Center Supervisor, then Agency Manager at Screg Ile-de-France.
In 1989, Mr. Le Bouc became Director at Bouygues Offshore for Europe, French overseas departments and territories and Australia. His responsibilities were extended in 1990 to Southeast Asia and Mexico. In 1994, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Bouygues Offshore, then Chief Executive Officer in 1996.
In 1999, he became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bouygues Offshore and, in 2001, Chairman of the Board. He also served as Chairman of the Board of ETDE and Chief Operating Officer of Bouygues Construction from November 2001 to September 2002.
Mr. Hervé Le Bouc was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Saur in 2002, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2005.
In February 2007, he joined the Board of Directors of Colas and was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive in October 2007.
